SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- General Motors Corporation is recalling 207,542 1997-2003 Buick Regal and Pontiac Grand Prix vehicles due to fire risks, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Friday. The vehicles under recall are equipped with 3.8 liter supercharged V-6 engine. The agency warned that owners should not park their cars in the garage since underhood fires may be caused by drops of engine oil being deposited in the exhaust manifold through hard breaking.
